By downloading, installing, or using Leaves ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Eligibility
Leaves is intended for adults aged 18 and older. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, please do not use this App.
What Leaves Is
Leaves is a self-help companion app that provides tools, tracking, and educational content to support adults who want to reduce or quit cannabis use. The App offers:
- Daily check-in and mood tracking
- Craving management tools (breathing, grounding, urge surfing)
- Progress and streak tracking
- Withdrawal timeline information
- Activity suggestions and trigger journaling
What Leaves Is Not
Leaves is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App does not provide:
- Medical or psychiatric diagnosis
- Professional counseling or therapy
- Emergency or crisis services
- Prescriptions or medication management
If you are experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms, mental health concerns, or thoughts of self-harm, please contact a healthcare professional or call your local emergency services immediately.
Your Use of the App
You agree to use Leaves only for its intended purpose — as a personal self-help tool for cannabis reduction or cessation. You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with the App
- Use the App in a way that could harm yourself or others
- Redistribute or resell the App or its content
Your Data
All personal data (check-ins, triggers, progress) is stored locally on your device. We do not require an account or collect personally identifiable information. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for backing up your data. If you delete the App or reset your device, your data may be permanently lost unless you have exported it.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Some features of Leaves may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. Pricing and features will be clearly described before any purchase. Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and their respective terms apply.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's store settings. Refund policies are governed by the applicable store.
Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code in Leaves is the intellectual property of the Leaves team. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without written permission, except for personal use as intended.
Limitation of Liability
Leaves is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any health outcomes from using the App
- We are not responsible for decisions you make based on App content
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of withdrawal timeline information
- We are not liable for data loss due to device issues or App bugs
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Leaves team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Leaves after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Termination
You may stop using Leaves at any time by deleting the App. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to features if these Terms are violated.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
